STATE-FUNDED (FTC, FES-EO & FES-UA) SCHOLARSHIPS (for Tuition & Standard Fees)
St. Michael Academy recognizes that enrolling in a catholic school is an investment in your child's future. Because of this, our school continuously strives to ensure that we provide a Christ-centered environment and high quality of education to our students.
To help families afford catholic education for their children, our school has applied for and is eligible to accept state scholarships. The state scholarship programs are administered and managed by the state’s Scholarship Funding Organizations (SFOs), namely, Step Up For Students (SUFS) and AAA Scholarship Foundation (AAA).
We encourage parents or guardians to apply for the state scholarship by submitting their applications to the SFO of their choice. In turn, the SFO processes the applications and awards the scholarships. Once parents or guardians receive the scholarship award for their child, they must provide our school with the scholarship award information so we can process the award and confirm with the SFO that the child is enrolled in our school.
Currently, all our students on scholarships have applied with and received their awards from SUFS. A parent or guardian cannot apply with both SUFS and AAA at the same time. A student can only have one state scholarship – either from SUFS or AAA.
Please note that even with the scholarship award, parents or guardians are still the ones financially responsible for the balance not covered by the scholarship and any scholarship funds/payments not received by our school from the SFO.

After enrolling, if your family needs additional financial assistance, you may apply through FACTS - Grant & Aid system. FACTS is a third-party vendor that the school utilizes not only for their Grant & Aid system but also for their Student Information system and Financial/Tuition Management system.
