K-8 Tuition & Fees SY2026-27
ENROLLMENT/REGISTRATION FEE: $500.00
ACADEMIC FEE: $825.00

(This fee covers course materials, textbooks, workbooks, student accident insurance, guidance services, media/library services, testing, science lab, etc.)

CHROMEBOOK FEE (4th – 8th Grade Only): $100.00
GRADUATION FEE (8th Grade Only): $160.00
PTO FEE: $25.00
TUITION: $9,500.00

VOLUNTEER HOURS FEE: Each family is required to volunteer (e.g., helping with fundraisers, field trips, etc.) a minimum of 20 hours per school year. Unmet hours will be billed at $30.00 per hour. A family may “buy-out” their volunteer hours for $600.00 (which can be billed through FACTS).
NOTE: All fees are non-refundable and non-pro rata, except tuition.

Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) Program - 2026–2027Program Overview
Thank you for your interest in St. Michael Academy’s Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) Program. We look forward to partnering with you in your child’s early learning journey.
Our Pre-Kindergarten 4 (VPK) program is approved by the Diocese of St. Augustine and accredited by the Florida Catholic Conference and the National Association for Non-Public Schools. In addition to the VPK core curriculum, St. Michael Academy offers a well-rounded program that includes Art, Music, Physical Education, and Religion.
VPK Program Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Fees & Payment Information
The State of Florida VPK Program provides funding for 540 instructional hours during the school year. St. Michael Academy offers an optional additional two months of instruction for a fee of $1,500.00. This fee applies to all VPK4 students who opt in to the two additional months of instruction.
For those opting into the two additional months of instruction, the remaining $1,500 may be paid in full or in 10 monthly installments (billed to the FACTS account) beginning in July.
Eligibility Requirements
To participate in the VPK program:
Your child must be four years old on or before September 1, 202.
Your child must be fully potty-trained. 
SMA does not accept religious health exemptions

How to Apply for the Certificate of Eligibility (COE)
Parents must apply online for the State of Florida Certificate of Eligibility (COE). https://familyservices.floridaearlylearning.com/
After receiving your COE:
Sign and date the form (Boxes 18 & 19).

It is the parents’ responsibility to provide the COE. If we do not receive your child’s signed and dated COE, you will be billed at the standard PreK-4 SMA tuition rates.

Payment Plan Options 

St. Michael Academy utilizes the FACTS Tuition Management System (FACTS-TMS) as its family/student school account information system for fees such as tuition, academic, and registration.

The following are the payment plan options available.
MONTHLY PAYMENT PLAN:
Choose a 10-month, 11-month, or 12-month plan. All monthly payments begin in July. All plans must be paid in full in June of the following year. Choose from five options for your monthly due date (1st, 5th, 10th, 15th, or 20th).
SEMI-ANNUAL PAYMENT PLAN:
Two semi-annual payments — July 1, 2026, and January 1, 2027.
FULL or 1-PAYMENT OPTION:
One full payment — July 1, 2026.

Extended Day Care Program

Guidelines

Our Extended Day Care program, now on its 27th year, provides a safe and structured environment for your child(ren). The Director and her assistants closely monitor all activities. They also provide time for children to work on their homework. However, the parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring all assignments have been successfully completed.
At the beginning of the school year, please email the classroom teacher the days your child will attend Extended Day Care. You will then only need to inform the teacher when your child will not be attending After-School Care so they can be in the carpool line.
Unless there is an emergency, DO NOT call the school during the school day to relay instructions about where your students are to go at the end of the day - they should know this in advance. Students who are not picked up by 3:00 p.m. will be escorted to the Extended Day Care program. The Minor/Major infractions listed in the Parent/Student Handbook and on the website,
www.smacad.org, will be used as the same guidelines for the Before- & After-School Care Program. Parents will be notified of any discipline problems, and through their support, we will be able to correct the problem.
Please note: Any student who repeatedly disobeys the rules and regulations required for a safe environment will be dismissed from the program. Fighting, kicking, and the use of inappropriate language are grounds for permanent dismissal from our program. Your our children are important to us and we look forward to having them. POLICIES

⮚ Parents whose student is not on Wrap-Around, will be billed on a weekly basis through their FACTS account.
⮚ If payments are more than two weeks in arrears, you will receive notification that your child(ren) will not be able to attend this program until all fees are paid in full. An account in arrears will be charged a $35 late fee.
⮚ Any child picked up after 6:00pm will be charged an additional $5.00 for every five (5) minutes, or fraction thereof.
⮚ All parents or those authorized to pick up students are REQUIRED to sign out their student through the director.
⮚ Students (K-8) who are not picked up from the dismissal line at the Main School by 3:00 p.m. will be sent to After-School Care, and a minimum fee of $15.00 per child will apply.
⮚ The Before & After-School Care building is a Nut-Free building.

⮚ Any child picked up after 6:00pm will be charged an additional $5.00 every five (5) minutes, or fraction thereof. This program option may be changed ONCE from a Drop-In Program to the Wrap-Around Rate Program. The change will
occur on the first day of the following month after the change request. All previous-month bills must be paid in full before program plan will be changed.

⮚ The Wrap-Around rate for K-8 is $4,100.00 per student.
⮚ The Wrap-Around rate includes before school (7:00am – 7:30am) and after school care (2:45pm – 6:00pm) on school days, including early release days when school is in session, from the 1st school day that K-8 is scheduled, until the end of the school year.
⮚ The Wrap-Around rate will be added to your monthly FACTS payment plan and will be pro-rated on a 10-month basis (August through May).
⮚ If you choose to cancel the wrap-around program, it may only be canceled on the last day of the month. Once you cancel this program, you may not sign up again for the same school year.
⮚ No refunds for absences or school breaks.

This program option may be changed ONCE from a Drop-In Program to the Wrap-Around Yearly Rate Program. The change will occur on the first day of the following month after the change request. All previous-month bills must be paid in full before the program plan will be changed.

⮚ The Wrap-Around rate includes the Before-School (7:00am – 7:45am) and After-School care (12:00nn – 6:00pm) on school days including early release days when School Care is in session, from the 1st school day of Pre-K students
until the end of the school year.
⮚ The Wrap-Around rate will be added to your monthly FACTS payment plan and will be prorated on a 10-month basis (August through May).
⮚ If you choose to cancel the wrap-around program, it may only be canceled on the last day of the month. Once you cancel this program, you may not sign up again for the same school year.
